Red Banyan Group client AILA South Florida has emerged as a prominent media resource on the timely topic of Venezuelans applying for asylum in the U.S. amidst the current crisis in their home country. In the past week, AILA South Florida and its members have been cited in numerous leading Spanish and English speaking media outlets discussing the important issue.

AILA South Florida President Antonio Revilla III appeared on Todo Noticias on Miami’s Actualidad Radio last Friday, and Chapter Second Vice President Andrea Martini was interviewed for a piece which ran on CNN Español yesterday.

In addition to the El Nuevo Hearld coverage we highlighted in a previous blog, the English version of The Miami Herald also published an opinion piece by a member of AILA South Florida warning Venezuelans about frivolous asylum applications.

The chapter’s recent press release on the issue was also republished by El Venezolano, a Miami-area newspaper for the Venezuelan community.
