The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance noted this week that the city has been ranked among the “Top 10 Small American Cities of the Future” by Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) magazine.

The 2013-2014 bi-annual report reviewed 422 cities on the categories of economic potential, human resources, cost effectiveness, infrastructure, business friendliness and FDI strategy. Fort Lauderdale placed seventh for economic potential, likely due to its strong investment showings and development initiatives.

Earlier this month, Florida was ranked first in the country for innovation by Fast Company magazine.

As a growing company based in the Fort Lauderdale area, Red Banyan Group is excited about the bright future ahead for the “Venice of America.”
