Michele Anapol has more than 20 years of wide-ranging, high-level communications experience that includes the development and execution of comprehensive content marketing plans, traditional and digital media campaigns, copywriting, press outreach and more.

As Red Banyan’s Director of Content, Michele leads and supports a number of client accounts, providing strategic PR counsel and overseeing the development of a variety of marketing materials and public relations initiatives in support of their overall business objectives. She is also responsible for generating written proposals to prospective clients and serves as the client-facing representative of Red Banyan.

Prior to joining the agency, Michele served as the lead writer for the Community Foundation of Broward in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she developed and implemented a comprehensive content marketing plan designed to move key audiences to action. In addition, Michele worked as the lead policy and advocacy communications writer for the National Multifamily Housing Council in Washington, DC. She also was director of communications for the nonprofit National Housing Conference and its research affiliate the Center for Housing Policy, and served as a political appointee in the public affairs offices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington.

Michele holds an M.A. in journalism and public affairs from The American University and a B.A. in communications and public relations with a writing minor from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
